چکیده

The cGAS/STING signaling pathway plays a pivotal role in regulating innate immunity. Emerging novel drugs aim to regulate the anti-tumor immune response by activating anti-diabetic drug metformin has been reported exhibit anti-cancer effect against various types of cancer. However, gastric cancer remains unknown. In our study, we first used bioinformatic analysis detect that is closely related tumor immunity multiple tumors. Next, validated function cell lines. addition, KEGG enrichment showed negatively correlated with PI3K/AKT We further verified activates blocking AKT phosphorylation. Moreover, found regulates mediating transcription factor SOX2. Thus, study indicates suppressing SOX2/AKT and promising potential immunotherapy.

LncRNA AK023391 promotes tumorigenesis and invasion of gastric cancer through activation of the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway

BACKGROUND Patients with gastric cancer commonly have a poor prognosis, owing to its invasiveness and distant metastasis. Recent studies have confirmed the pivotal role of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in tumorigenesis and the progression of malignant tumors, including gastric cancer. However, little is known about the molecular mechanism by which lncRNA AK023391 contributes to gastric cancer....

Inhibition of CYFIP2 promotes gastric cancer cell proliferation and chemoresistance to 5-fluorouracil through activation of the Akt signaling pathway

Gastric cancer is a common gastrointestinal malignancy that accounts for a notable proportion of cancer-associated mortalities worldwide. Cytoplasmic fragile X mental retardation 1-interacting protein 2 (CYFIP2) is a novel p53-mediated pro-apoptotic protein whose expression is decreased in gastric cancer. However, whether decreased expression of CYFIP2 contributes to gastric carcinogenesis rema...

Downregulation of HADH promotes gastric cancer progression via Akt signaling pathway

HADH is a key enzyme in fatty acid oxidation. The aim of this study was to identify the role of HADH in gastric cancer. We analyzed the expression of HADH in 102 pairs of gastric cancer samples. Western blot analysis revealed that HADH was decreased in stage I/II gastric cancer samples compared to matched adjacent normal gastric tissue, and its expression was further decreased in stage III/IV s...

Quinazoline derivative compound (11d) as a novel angiogenesis inhibitor inhibiting VEGFR2 and blocking VEGFR2-mediated Akt/mTOR /p70s6k signaling pathway

Objective(s): We previously reported a series of quinazoline derivatives as vascular-targeting anticancer agents. In this study, we investigated the mechanism underlying the anti-angiogenic activity of the quinazoline derivative compound 11d. Materials and Methods: We examined the effects of quinazoline derivative 11d on vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2 (VEGFR2) activation via VEG...
